Andrea Martinez was a patient who came from Baylor Dallas Hospital. After suffering from a stroke, she couldn’t transfer herself to the wheelchair and she had limited mobility. Once she was admitted to Bear Creek/Grapevine Nursing & Rehab the team worked closely with her providing speech, occupational, and physical therapy. This lovely young lady was determined. After her stay, she was able to transfer, increased strength, balance, and was able to walk! Today, she’s walking, talking, and getting stronger everyday and now she is back home working on her goals so she can return to work. We’re excited for this young gal to be part of her success in April 2023. She brought so much joy to our building, and she will be missed.
